Okezie Ikpeazu wins Abia gov election
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced Okezie Ikpeazu, the candidate Peoples Democratic Party, the winner of the Abia State governorship election.
The result, announced early Sunday morning saw Mr Ikpeazu polling 264,713 to defeat the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Alex Otti, who polled 180,882 votes. INEC had earlier declared the governorship election held in the state on April 11, inconclusive.
