PDP senator, relatives caught red-handed thumb-printing ballot papers at home
It was not a good day for Senator Hope Uzodinma and two of his relatives as they were caught thumb printing ballot papers during the governorship election rerun in a private residence in Oru East Local government, IMO state. Mr. Uzodinma's uncle and elder sister were among those caught in the act and arrested.
Uzodinma's uncle and sister have since been detained while he was released on grounds of personal recogition. They were taken to Oweri, the IMO state capital to be detained. Uzodima supporters nearly prevented his uncle and sister from being whisked away by the police until the police called for helping hands from the Army and the secret police.Most of the polling units in the rerun witnessed violence and those caught were arrested.
