Governor Rochas Okorocha, the incumbent Governor of Imo State and APC candidate has won the governorship election in Imo state. He was declared winner by the electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after the supplementary election of Saturday in a rerun between the governor and the PDP candidate, Emeka Ihedioha.
A total of 416,996 votes was polled by Governor Okorocha to defeat Mr Ihedioha who got 320,705 votes. INEC had earlier declared the April 12 gubernatorial election in the state, inconclusive.
