Marry an indigene, get automatic employment, Nasarawa Governor tells corps members

Nasarawa State Governor, Tanko Al-Makura, on Thursday promised that any of the newly deployed corps members to the state who marries an indigene of the state would be given automatic employment. The governor made this promise while addressing 2015 NYSC Batch ‘A’ corp members, during their swearing-in ceremony at Magaji Dan Yamusa NYSC permanent Orientation camp, Keffi Local Government Area of the state. He said inter-tribal marriage will foster unity and promote peaceful coexistence among the people of the state and other states of the federation.

The governor while congratulating the corps members for the successful completion of their academic programmes urge them to be agents of positive change in the society. Although the governor assured the corps members of adequate security throughout their service year in the State, he urged them to be security conscious. A total of 1931 corp members have so far registered at the orientation camp.
