Transfer news: Arsenal make Jurrien Timber their top target

Jurrien David Norman Timber is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a defender for Eredivisie club Ajax and the Netherlands national team. Mainly a centre-back, he can also play as a right-back. Timber joined Ajax's youth academy in 2014, from Feyenoord. Arsenal Football Club has reportedly made Jurrien Timber their top target for the upcoming transfer window. The Dutch defender currently plays for Ajax Amsterdam and has been on Arsenal's radar for some time now.

Timber, who is only 22 years old, has shown great promise on the field with his impressive defensive skills and ability to read the game. Arsenal is in need of a reliable defender and Timber seems to fit the bill perfectly.
According to sources, Arsenal has already begun talks with Ajax over a possible transfer.
