Detangle the wig
Curly wigs are more likely to get tangled. You must regularly detangle them as a result of this to avoid hair breakages. Detangle your curly wig with a wide-tooth comb that can minimize hair breakages. Start untangling at the hair ends and work your way up to the hair roots. Your fingers are more flexible to detangle a wig. If there are several stubborn knots, you can carefully use your fingers to untangle them.
Wash and condition your wig
Carefully wash the wig with a mild shampoo. Apply hair conditioner on the hair strands that can deeply moisturize your curly wigs. Rinse with cold or lukewarm water, but do not rub, then use a towel to get rid of the excess water. Air dry or blow dry it. For lace curly wigs, like
wear and go wigs,
m cap wigs, or
360 glueless wigs, you shouldn’t apply any hair conditioner on hair knots because hair shedding will result in this.
Select a suitable product
If you want to get the ideal wet-look hairstyle, you must select a suitable styling product, like hair gel, mousse, or cream. There are styling products on the market nowadays, so deciding on a suitable one is necessary. However, always use a non-sticky, hair-shine hair gel. It will aid in keeping the wig in place and wet. The quantity of gel you'll need is determined by your curly wig's volume and density.
Apply the styling product
Squeeze some styling gel, mousse, or cream according to the instructions for curly hair. Then with your finger spread the styling product evenly into the curls you made with your fingers. Evenly apply the styling product on the hair strands.
