Having long locks doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy the gorgeous wigs. Wigs are a great way to experiment with various hairstyles and colors to suit your mood. If you have long hair you might find it challenging to put on a wig, you have come to the right place. Our guide will make it an easy thing to put on a wig even if your hair is very long. Just choose the right tools and master the right techniques. So, let’s dive in and get your wigs ready. Just follow the following steps and you can enjoy any wig style comfortably and confidently.
Step one:
Use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to comb your hair thoroughly to remove any tangles or knots. You can secure your wig on a wig stand to make the wig easier to detangle. Gently use the comb to comb the hair ends and work your way up to the hair roots. When there are some tough knots, you can use your fingers to untangle them carefully. Be gentle and careful to avoid damaging your hair.
Step two:
Divide your long hair into 2 sections. For thin hair, 2 sections should be enough. If your hair is thick you can divide your hair into 4 or 6 sections. After dividing the sections, braid each section into French braids and secure it with small hair ties. Wrap the two braids around your head and secure them to create a smooth surface. Don’t overlap them to avoid lumps and bumps.
Step Three:
Wear a wig cap to cover all the natural hair. Adjust the wig cap’s edge to align the forehead hairline.
Step four:
Gently hold the wig and wear it on the head. If your wigs are
wear and go wigs,
m cap wigs, or
360 glueless wigs, you can just secure your wigs through the adjust band and combs. If your wigs are lace wigs, you should install them by using tape, glue, or adhesive.
