As a wig lover, I have tried many
different types of wigs, among which t part wigs and closure wigs are the two types I use the most. Today, I want to share their advantages and disadvantages with you based on my own experience, so as to help friends who are struggling to choose which wig to choose to make a better decision.
My Experience of T-Part wig
The first impression of
T-Part wig is that the price is very friendly, especially when the budget is limited, its cost performance makes me very satisfied. Its parting line design is fixed in a "T" shape, usually in the middle, and the lace covers the hairline area, making the overall look natural and real. When you need to go out quickly, this wig is very convenient. After wearing it, you can have a natural and neat hairstyle directly without almost adjusting it. However, its shortcomings are also obvious. Due to the fixed parting line, the styling options are limited. If you want a side part or other hairstyle, it will be a bit limited. In addition, the wig is a bit stiff when you first get it, and you need to use a curling iron or hairspray to slightly adjust it to make the hairstyle look more fluffy and layered.
Closure Wig Experience
Closure wig gave me a completely different experience. Its lace covers a larger area, usually 4x4 or 5x5 design, which allows me to freely adjust the position of the parting line, whether I want to part in the middle or on the side. Breathability is also a major advantage of closure wigs. The lace area is larger, and the scalp will not feel stuffy when wearing it all day. Especially when attending some important occasions, the natural feeling of closure wigs makes me more confident. However, its price is indeed higher than T-Part wigs, and for beginners, it takes more time to adjust the lace and fix the position of the wig when wearing it, but as long as you are proficient, the effect is really good, and it can be completely fake.
Summary
From my actual use, T-Part wigs are affordable and easy to wear. They are suitable for those with limited budgets or wig novices, but the fixed parting line leads to low flexibility and limited hairstyle choices. Closure wigs provide a larger lace area, which is not only free to part and breathable, but also has a better natural effect. It is suitable for people who like to try different styles or have requirements for exquisite hairstyles. However, its price is high, and it also requires higher wearing skills. Novices may need to adapt for a while.
My choice
I will choose T-Part wigs for daily going out or going to work. It is simple, convenient and not easy to make mistakes; when I need to take pictures or attend important occasions, I prefer a
lace closure wig. After all, its exquisiteness cannot be replaced by T-Part wigs. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. The key is to choose according to your needs and budget.
