US Number 1 album Gospel Music star, Lincoln Brewster, has revealed that he gave his life to God through Jesus when he was only 19.
The Gospel music star, whose latest album, Oxygen, peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Christian Album charts and at number 51 on the Billboard top 200 albums also said he grew up in a chaotic home environment in which he was never told about God and His Son Jesus and never went to church.
He revealed that he gave his life to Christ on a couch at his friend’s house in Los Angeles when he was in the secular music world.
Brewster revealed this in an interview with author and Christian TV show host, Reno Omokri. The anticipated interview will be aired in America on Sunday October 25 at 2.30 PM on KTLN channel 25.
It will recalled that Brewster comes from a popular Alaskan family and his brothers John and Andy are the stars of the hit Discovery Chanel TV show, the Deadliest Catch.
Before his phenomenal gospel music success, Brewster was lead guitarist for music super star, Steve Perry who ranks at No. 76 on Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Singers Of All Time.
