National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has disclosed that poor rehabilitation equipment and low enlightenment have been the two major factors stalling the agency’s efforts at rehabilitation of drug addicts.
Speaking in Ado Ekiti Wednesday, the NDLEA’s Commander in Ekiti, Mr Suleiman Jadi, urged the State and Federal governments to place high premium on rehabilitation of drug addicts, a situation he described as very alarming in the country.
He added that in spite of the snag of lack of rehabilitation equipment, however, a total of two hardened drug addicts have been rehabilitated by the agency in 2015.
