Federal High Court in Abuja will today hear an application by former National Security Adviser (NSA) retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki seeking to stop the siege by the Department of State Services (DSS) in his Abuja home.
Justice Adeniyi Ademola is to hear the application which counsel to Dasuki, Ahmed Raji (SAN) pleaded for the enforcement of the applicant’s fundamental rights to dignity and security of life.
Raji filed the application on Monday following days of siege on Dasuki’s house at No: 13, John Kadiya Street, Asokoro, Abuja by the DSS.
He had asked the court to make a mandatory order compelling the federal government to vacate the house with immediate effect.
Dasuki, who is facing charges of illegal possession of firearms and money laundering before the court, was on November 3 granted leave to travel abroad for medical treatment.
