The Sylva campaign last night rebuffed Governor Serikae Dickson’s claim of running a government with zero tolerance for criminality as it accused the governor of harbouring criminals in the Government House, Yenagoa.
The campaign in a statement issued by campaign spokesman, Nathan Egba alleged that the governor was harbouring the prime suspect in the killing of an APC Ekeremor APC leader in the Government House.
“We have it on good authority that not only are wanted persons given refuge in Government House Yenagoa, there are even alleged criminal activities going on in the Guest Houses located within the Government House precinct.
“For instance, the alleged mastermind of the killing of an APC leader in Ekeremor LGA is said to be holed up in one of the Guest Houses there.
“Secondly, information at our disposal indicates that the PDP has imported some fierce looking thugs from nearby states, who were driven into the state in Coaster buses, escorted by a detachment of Security men attached to Government House, Yenagoa.
“These thugs are to wear the police and military uniforms being sewn in the Government House Guest Houses as we already alerted the security operatives about in an earlier Press Statement.
“In the light of the above, we are still calling on the Security agencies to probe these allegations and get to the root of the matter in order to forestall violence and protect the integrity of the forth-coming election.
