A genuine email from Zenith bank will come from an email like "example@
zenithbank.com". The "example" portion of the email can be any name, or word.
What really matters is the "
@zenithbank.com" portion of the sender's email. So if the sender's email does not have the "
@zenithbank.com" portion of the email address, then note the email is a fake and
NEVER respond to such email. For example, email from "
[email protected]" is fake because it is not from "
[email protected]". The "s" on "zeniths" made the email a fake. Online criminals are becoming very smart. So be very careful in recognizing this little but big differences in spelling. It will save you huge agony.
However, if you are still in thought as to the authenticity of email, the best approach is to call Zenith bank customer service for verification.
Never act on or reply emails you are not sure of. Be safe online my friends.
