There are speculations that Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu is stylishly being sidelined in the affairs of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
Akinfenwa on Tuesday, October 11, said that Tinubu deserved his current travails.
The AD stalwart in a statement made available to newsmen, said there was no way he would be wooed to work with Tinubu, adding that the former Lagos State governor had not spoken to him in the last 15 years.
According to The Punch, Senator Akinfenwa said he was not ready to work with the former governor.
Specifically, Akinfenwa, who was a former national chairman of the AD, said he would not be railroaded into supporting Tinubu, whom he said was scheming to get the support of the Yoruba.
Akinfenwa, who fell out with Tinubu over the leadership of the AD more than a decade ago, said Tinubu was the architect of his own misfortune.
He said: “(Every) man is the architect of his own fortune and misfortune. In this case, Tinubu is the architect of his own misfortune. So, he should not bring me into the matter I was never part of with him.
“He knows it will be difficult, if not impossible to woo or induce me as he is gradually succeeding with those he has despised and succeeded in wounding.”’
In a similar vein, Chief John Oyegun, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been venomously attacked by youths of the Lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to a statement made yesterday, October 11, by their spokesman Adeleke Abdulhakeem, the youths accused the APC chairman of fooling Nigerians with his response to the statement by APC National Leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
