A Nigerian computer analyst in the United States, Tunde Adepegba, has passed away after he suffered a heart attack inside a metro bus in Maryland. It was discovered that the deceased suffered a suspicious heart attack in a metro bus around Annapolis in Maryland.
According to reports, the man could not receive any medical help until the bus driver got to the last destination to help him. It was gathered that Adepegba’s burial would cost about 10,000 dollars (N3,147,500) for his wife who is unable to afford it.
A deputy editor with THISDAY newspaper, Olawale Olaleye, expressed that a gofundme fundraiser has been opened in other to raise enough money to assist the wife for the burial. Olaleye said: “This is no good news but a time I need the Nigerian in us to act true to type. Sadly, he left behind a pregnant wife. It is such a pathetic situation. But we can’t go on and on brooding over what we can’t change. This is an appeal for his burial, which is a bit expensive in the U.S and of course, whatever is left of this will be given to the pregnant wife.” Another editor at THISDAY newspaper, Adeola Akinremi, who is currently in the United State, expressed her sadness for the family of the deceased after she went to visit them.
She told TheCable: “It is a sad story you won’t even wish for your enemy. Everything around the woman and the children has collapsed. They can only live on charity for now and everyone with a good heart must rise up. The gofundme.com is probably the first place to start, but you can also reach out to the woman directly.” The wife of the deceased and her children are currently staying with a Good Samaritan in Randallstown, Maryland. They would stay there for the period of the burial.
