Australian Senator, Larissa Waters has become the first parliamentarian to breastfeed her baby – Alia Joy Waters – in the parliament.
Senator Larissa Waters returned to parliament Tuesday for the first time since giving birth to her second daughter earlier this year, bringing Alia Joy with her while she voted.
And when her baby needed it, she didn't hesitate to feed her.
Afterwards, she wrote on Twitter: "So proud that my daughter Alia is the first baby to be breastfed in the federal Parliament! We need more #women & parents in Parli."
