On our historic and verdant suburban campus 11 miles from Philadelphia, a world-class faculty guides and challenges 1,350 undergraduate women and more than 400 graduate women and men from 45 states and 62 countries. Bryn Mawr is a place where teaching is valued, each student is known, and students and faculty members form close bonds. Superb opportunities for independent and faculty-sponsored research, core seminars, connected, interdisciplinary courses, and access to 37 majors and 53 minors and concentrations enable each undergraduate student to create her own academic program. Bryn Mawr was the first women’s college to offer graduate education through the Ph.D., a signal of its founders’ refusal to accept the limitations imposed on women’s intellectual achievement at other institutions.

Approximate Funding Gap to be filled by student:Bryn Mawr College awards need-based financial aid to international students that may consist of grants, loans, and campus employment. The College meets the full demonstrated need and there is no gap.

Award Duration: Through degree completion

Application Deadline: November 15 (Early Decision); January 1 (Early Decision II); January 15 (Regular Decision)

Application Requirements: Only women can apply to Bryn Mawr as an undergraduate. Students who have finished their secondary school program are encouraged to apply, but students who have already started attending university course are not eligible. A TOEFL score of 100 of higher is required for consideration.
