Super Eagles goalkeeper, Chigozie Agbim, has categorically stated that he wants to play more games for Nigeria, following the country’s two international friendlies against Cote D’ Ivoire and Yemen.
The 30-year old is first choice goalkeeper and captain of Nigeria’s B team, and also third choice of the regular Super Eagles team. But despite often coming under severe criticisms from fans, the former Golden Eaglets shot-stopper says he still wants to be between the sticks for Nigeria in subsequent games.
“All the players were unanimous in saying that playing friendly games is a way of making the team jell together and building the unity of the team, the coaching staff and the ensuring that the players are active throughout the year.
“What we want to demand is that this laudable development should not be a one off thing.”
