Community chief catches policeman ‘smoking’ weed, vows to report him to IGP (Video)

A Police officer, Francis Adetsi has allegedly been caught smoking ‘weed’ in a community in Akim Etwereso, the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The on-duty officer who was deployed to Ayirebi was nabbed by chief of the community, Daasebre Ofosu Kwabi.

In a video making the rounds online, he was initially pleading with the chief and some men who accompanied him to the scene.

But in a very quick turn of events, the policeman changed his position after being confronted and denied engaging in any drug use.

Despite being caught red-handed with a lighted blunt in his hand, Adetsi claimed he was not smoking ‘weed’ and challenged Daasebre to know if he will get him arrested.

He said; “That what? What kind of big offense are you talking about? So will you arrest me, or add this one to me? What are you telling me? I don’t go that way?

Do you know where I’m from and the work I came to do here? Or do you think I’m only at the barrier? And you are telling me that you’ll arrest me? Are you done arresting the folks in this village?” the visibly angry policeman burst out.”

Particles of processed marijuana were found close to where he was seated, but he also denied being the person responsbile for the debris.

He claimed that he was sent on a mission to the ghetto and the owners took to their heels the very moment they saw him.

The chief was taken aback by his reaction, but in a very calm way, he addressed the questions the policeman asked him by throwing questions back at him.

“Hear me; the people I am walking with are with the National Security… the statement you made that ‘have we finished arresting the people of this community’ is very unfortunate. Do you know the instructions I have issued in this community?” he told the officer.

The policeman then pleaded for mercy, acknowledging that he was at fault, while apologising for the way he spoke earlier.

After the heated exchange, the armed men with the Chief whisked the policeman away from the scene.

The chief of the community has since vowed to ensure that he reports the behaviour of the policeman to the Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare.

Wow, what a wild situation! I've never seen anything like that in person. Law enforcement officers must uphold the law, but it's also important for them to be treated fairly. The chief handled it well, keeping things calm in a tense moment. I love weed, especially delta 9 thc gummies, but I only get legal stuff. Let's hope this gets resolved properly through the appropriate channels.

Wow, that's quite the story! I can't believe the community chief caught a policeman with a vape pen that looked like weed. It sounds like a real mix-up. I hope it all gets sorted out soon.

In situations like this, it's important to promote understanding and clear communication. Maybe there was a misunderstanding about the vape pen. Speaking of which, using a CBD vape pen could be a healthier alternative to traditional smoking.

Let's hope for a peaceful resolution to this incident and that it doesn't cause any unnecessary tension within the community. It's always better when issues like this can be resolved amicably.
